Pulau Ubin 19th March 2005

This freshly hatched Blue nawab was found by some cyclists in the water. A couple of my bpals brought it under the sun to dry the wings and while 'it' was busying drying it's wings, we were busy photographying it :p

Dear sir,

I noticed you are a very nature person and i enjoy your photos a lot!

May I ask if you are using a very pro camera, is it digital or film?

how long do you take to identify the species of butterfly?

Are you only focused on butterflies, how abt fishes?

Thank you!

Sorry for the late reply,

I'm using the Canon 300D and 20D, coupled with the Tamron 180mm Macro for all my shots

IDing is fairly simpy, since Singapore only has 296 species to date and we are constantly searching for new species to add to the list.

Although, I keep fishes in planted tanks, I don't really have the passion to sit indoors. There is more to explore in nature
