Another trip to Sime forest with a few butterflypals, haven't been there since they open the tree top walk. Things was looking rather promising after the rain started pouring down a few days ago. Defintely, a good sign for life in the nature reserve. And as usual, the place for packed with alot of people visiting the tree top walk (still wondering, was there to see...) imagine walking 5-6km to cross a suspended bridge not more than 300m long and then walking another 6-7km back :p. Also met a few lost-looking people while walking to our usual spot where we bait butterflies with our famous 'belacan'. With the sun blazing down on us, the 'belacan' proves to be very attractive. At 1 point, we spotted 5 common bluebottle and a blue jay feeding on the bait.. (yum yum :) ). Apologize that I have to shrink the pix to 320 to prevent my pix from getting leeched. You never know :p, bigger pix are in the forum.. URL provided below
the rest of the pix is as always..... in butterflypals forum :P
